Fears
"Up To Town" by Fab Gorjian
We are pleased to offer a numbered edition of "Up To Town" by artist Fab Gorjian. Fab modelled this figure on Fears' (4th) Managing Director, Nicholas, and his love of trains.
The Artist
Fab Gorjian takes his inspiration from the European and North American art movements of the 1920's to 1950's. He goes beyond nostalgia and pastiche by working with the same spirit and sensibilities as the graphic masters of that golden age.
The Commission
Fears' (4th) Managing Director, Nicholas Bowman-Scargill, met Fab at an event on Savile Row and they immediately hit it off. With their shared love of 1930s railway posters it wasn't long til Nicholas commissioned three pieces of original art from Fab for Fears. Each one subtly features a Fears but importantly captures the spirit of the owner.
The Limited Run
Limited and numbered to only 25 editions, this run of prints will not be repeated, adding to their rarity. Each print has been checked by the artist before he numbered and signed them.
Each print comes unframed and wrapped in Fears Heritage acid-free tissue paper in a robust postal tube.
